Head on over to A Primate of Modern Aspect for a generous helping of anthropology (with a large side of primates thrown in) with another great edition of Four Stone Hearth, the anthropology blog carnival. This carnival features excellent posts on the heels of "breaking news" in anthropology—I'm sure you've heard that chimps are managing fire, and neanderthals have been linked to pigments and shell ornaments.
Other highlights include posts on fatherhood and baboons, the evolution of knuckle-walking, ancient hearths, and American mental illness. It's a robust carnival this time, so I recommend settling down with a cup of coffee or cocoa, or whatever settles you in for good reading.

Things have been a little hectic on my end, but I hope to be back to regular posting tomorrow.
